Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Solomon Obasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Obasi comes to the cage accompanied by Overkill. Jose Aldo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, David Schapiro and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo throws out a loose jab but Obasi uses good head movement to avoid it.
Obasi throws a head kick that Aldo semi-blocks.
Aldo checks the leg kick nicely there.
An inside leg kick lands from Obasi.
Aldo lands with a right hand.
Obasi throws a head kick that half lands.
A clash of legs there as Aldo blocks the low kick.
Obasi chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Obasi misses with a wild body shot.
A telegraphed right hand from Aldo misses the target.
Obasi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Aldo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Aldo misses the shot to the body.
Obasi scores with a head kick. Aldo tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Aldo missing with a left hand there. Obasi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Obasi lands a head kick!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Aldo throws a hook but Obasi blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Aldo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Obasi moves away.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Obasi.
Aldo pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Obasi staying out of range there.
Obasi misses the shot to the body.
Aldo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Obasi connects with a solid leg kick.
Jose Aldo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Aldo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Obasi circles away quickly and effectively.
Obasi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Aldo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Aldo swings widly with a right hand
and Obasi counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Aldo!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Obasi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ground and pound from Obasi seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Obasi trying to control the action but Aldo is working from the bottom.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Aldo wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Obasi has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Aldo's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Aldo is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Obasi!
