Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Miguel Enriquez!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paul throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Enriquez shoots in for a takedown but Paul shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Enriquez throws a right and a left that both miss.

Enriquez closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Enriquez tries to stall but Paul uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Paul is trying to force a seperation but Enriquez has the dominant position.
Paul lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Enriquez looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Paul wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Enriquez fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Paul lands a takedown into guard.

Enriquez is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Paul pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Enriquez is keeping the position for now.

Paul stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Enriquez connects with a high kick.
A cross from Paul lands.
Enriquez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Brandon Paul has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miguel Enriquez.
Enriquez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Paul swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Paul throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Enriquez tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Paul is in Enriquez's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Enriquez looks winded!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Paul is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Enriquez is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Enriquez has escaped and now he's on top!

Enriquez is posturing up here but Paul has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Enriquez tries to roll out but it's too tight and Enriquez has to tap! Slick submission there by Paul!
