Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Logan Henderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jose Makiling! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Henderson stalks Makiling and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Makiling's face. Makiling staggers backwards, shaken. Henderson looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Henderson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Henderson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Makiling momentarily.
Henderson has Makiling up against the cage in a clinch.

Makiling wants a takedown but no success here.
Makiling keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Henderson's efforts to push away. Makiling has Henderson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Makiling pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Henderson tumbling to the mat - Makiling dives into Henderson's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Makiling is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Henderson is looking to stand up but Makiling isn't so interested in that idea. Makiling drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Makiling jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Makiling thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Henderson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Henderson tries to get out of the position. Makiling thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Henderson wants to sweep here but Makiling controlling him for the moment. Makiling is pushing down on Henderson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Henderson is fighting to maintain full guard but Makiling has managed to sneak the leg through. Makiling is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Makiling is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Henderson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Makiling. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Makiling is trying to work for a kimura but Henderson is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Makiling seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Henderson is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
