Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manny Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Timmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simmons comes to the cage accompanied by country grammer. Timmons is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Diamond Eyes. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bill Timmons !
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simmons loads up on a big right hand but Timmons slips the punch.
Timmons fails in his attempt to clinch.
Timmons tries to bum rush Simmons with a series of wild strikes but Simmons uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Simmons misses with the combination.
Timmons blocks a jab.
Simmons falls off balance throwing a combination
and Timmons counters with a nice double leg into side control. Simmons won't be happy with that.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Timmons moves into full mount!
Timmons won't let Simmons get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Timmons pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Timmons trying to control but Simmons is having none of it.
Timmons lands with some strikes.

Timmons putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Timmons sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Timmons can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Simmons is looking to escape.
Timmons working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee warns Simmons that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Timmons landing strikes, looking to finish!
Timmons lands a couple of good shots and Simmons has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Timmons is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
It looks like Timmons might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Timmons is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Simmons with him. Simmons is trying to defend but Timmons has an arm under the chin now! Simmons grimaces and is forced to tap out!
