Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zack Fair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jet Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Li has chosen Tourniquet by Evanescence as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li throws a leg kick but Fair checks it.
Jet Li seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Li goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Li wants to land a leg kick but Fair is out of range.
Li throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Li lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fair circles away quickly and effectively.

Li connects with a leg kick. Fair looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Fair is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Li lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Fair has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Fair and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Li will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Li defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fair.

Li stuffs the takedown attempt from Fair. Fair gets slowly back to his feet.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Fair might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Fair throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Li was covering up waiting for the punch and Fair finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Fair has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Fair is looking to work his way around to Li's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Fair jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Li manages to avoid the submission attempt.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fair is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Li knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Fair thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Jet Li is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Li wants to control but Fair is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Li is doing well to control the position and prevent Fair from advancing to side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Fair passes to side control.
Fair wants to stand but Li has his arm trapped.

Zack Fair has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Fair is working to tighten is grip on Li's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Li has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Fair is really squeezing tight and eventually Li passes out! Fair breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
