Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Tatov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pasquale Kasserman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tatov comes into the arena with Soundgarden - Superunknown blaring out of the sound system. Kasserman has chosen Lit em Up as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Igor Tatov has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasserman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Tatov fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Kasserman closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Tatov's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tatov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kasserman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Tatov seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Tatov controls Kasserman momentarily but Kasserman frees himself.

Kasserman is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Kasserman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tatov.
Tatov lands a jab to Kasserman's midsection.
Kasserman is looking to clinch but Tatov is avoiding it.
Kasserman wants to clinch up but Tatov keeps it at a distance.

and Tatov decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kasserman's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Pasquale Kasserman hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

and Tatov counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Igor Tatov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pasquale Kasserman.

Tatov drops Kasserman with a right and a left! Tatov comes rushing in but Kasserman regains his composure and manages to keep Tatov in guard.

Kasserman is rocked!

It looks like Pasquale Kasserman has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tatov gets to his feet and stands over Kasserman, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Kasserman felt that one! Tatov unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Kasserman from any more punishment!
