Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Boomer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noel Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noel Lee will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hunter Boomer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boomer smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Lee throws a right and a left that both miss.
Boomer looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Boomer prevents Lee from standing back up.
Boomer tries to stand and escape but Lee is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Still in half guard, Boomer seems content to control.
Boomer seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lee for as long as he can get away with.
Boomer decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Boomer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lee as he jumps to the side.
Boomer rushes Lee and presses him up against the cage.
Boomer lands a hook that snaps the head of Lee backwards.

Lee is trying to break the clinch but Boomer is controlling him.
Boomer is pressed up against the cage. Lee has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Boomer down to the mat. Boomer avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Boomer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lee tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Boomer counters with a takedown into side control.
Boomer grinds an elbow into Lee's temple.
Lee is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Boomer remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Lee tries to improve position but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Boomer working the strikes but Lee uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Boomer wants to stand but Lee has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Boomer stops Lee from getting back to his feet.
Boomer thows a huge punch but Lee dodges it nicely.
Lee works his way to full guard. Good work.
Boomer stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Lee closes the distance but Boomer moves to the side
and Boomer counters by moving into the clinch.
Boomer pulls guard successfully.
Lee trying to control the position from guard on top but Boomer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Boomer wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Lee wants to control from the top but Boomer keeps moving.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Noel Lee wasn't active enough on the ground.
Lee shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Boomer pinned against the cage. Boomer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lee misses with a two punch combination.
Boomer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lee manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lee shoots in but Boomer avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hunter Boomer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Noel Lee.
Lee looks to land a combination but Boomer avoids it well.

Nice takedown defense from Boomer. No joy for Lee on that attempt.
Boomer shoots in but no luck this time.
Boomer closes the distance and clinches.
Lee misses with a punch to the body.
Lee tries to stall but Boomer uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Boomer breaks the clinch.
Lee dives in and grabs Boomer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Boomer pushes down on Lee's head and hops out.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Boomer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Lee displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Boomer.
Lee avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Boomer moves into the clinch.
Lee slows down the pace here.
Lee is trying to pull guard but Boomer has him pressed against the cage.
Boomer decides to pull guard.
Boomer is adopting a defensive guard.
Lee wants to control from the top but Boomer keeps moving.

Boomer working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Lee has passed into half guard!
Lee wants to stand up but Boomer is controlling the position.
Boomer keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Lee looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Boomer is positioning himself well to prevent Lee advancing to mount.
Boomer is pressing down on Lee's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Boomer tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Boomer has his hands on Lee's head, controlling the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Boomer gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lee to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Lee loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Boomer working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lee.
Lee stops Boomer from standing up.
Lee is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Boomer keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Noel Lee hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Lee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Boomer as he jumps to the side.

Hunter Boomer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Noel Lee.
Lee tries to clinch but Boomer is having none of it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Boomer is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Lee shoots in for a double leg but Boomer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Noel Lee will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Boomer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lee sprawls well. Lee wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Boomer gets slowly back to his feet.
Lee shoots in for a takedown but Boomer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Lee will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Boomer swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Boomer has his foot on Lee's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lee works his way back into a safe position though.

Boomer is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Lee tries to pull guard but Boomer holds him up against the cage and eventually Lee drops back down to his feet.
Boomer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lee looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Boomer!

Boomer is looking to reverse the position.
Boomer is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Lee taking a break here but Boomer is having none of it and regains half guard.
Lee is looking to take a break and control but Boomer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lee is looking to pass Boomer's guard but actually Boomer recovers to full guard.

Lee stands up out of Boomer's guard for a moment - Boomer manages to land a nice upkick.
Boomer wants to sweep but no luck.
Boomer has control of Lee's left arm, preventing Lee from doing any damage.
Hunter Boomer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Lee has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Boomer to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Lee is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Boomer pulls down on the head and he's put Lee to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Hunter Boomer!
