Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luffy fails with the takedown.
Luffy tries for a takedown but Cherry sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Luffy tries to clinch there but Cherry circles away.
Luffy with a poor takedown
and Cherry counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Luffy!
Jack Cherry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Monkey D Luffy.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cherry goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Luffy has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Cherry but great work by Luffy.
Luffy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cherry keeps working.
Cherry is trying to get back to his feet.
Luffy throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Cherry works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cherry is refusing to be controlled, as Luffy sits in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Luffy stops Cherry from getting back to his feet.
Luffy is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Cherry trying to control but Luffy postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Luffy seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Cherry is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
