Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Josh Koscheck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diego Sanchez is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Koscheck! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Diego Sanchez! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Koscheck gets tackled into the cage by Sanchez. Sanchez maintains the clinch. Koscheck goes for a takedown in the clinch but Sanchez prevents it.
Koscheck wants to take the fight to the mat but Sanchez manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Koscheck using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Sanchez has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Koscheck is trying to break the clinch but Sanchez has him pressed against the cage. Sanchez slows down the pace here.
Koscheck is working for takedown but Sanchez is calmly controlling the position for now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Koscheck. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sanchez manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Sanchez avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Sanchez pushes Koscheck off and scrambles back to his feet.
Sanchez lands a glancing blow to the side of Koscheck's head. Sanchez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Koscheck looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez is looking to take a break and control but Koscheck is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sanchez tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Koscheck is trying to get back to half guard. Sanchez controlling the position from side mount. Sanchez working the ground and pound. Koscheck tries to bench press Sanchez off him but Sanchez keeps the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanchez creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Sanchez working away. Sanchez decides to stand back up. Sanchez moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Koscheck is rocked!
It looks like Josh Koscheck has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sanchez closes the distance looking for a takedown. Sanchez picks Koscheck up and slams him brutally to the floor. Koscheck is out! He's out cold! Wow, you don't see a finish like that every day!
