Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cousteau shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Diggler has his takedown stuffed
and Cousteau counters with a single leg into guard. Diggler didn't expect that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Cousteau trying to control the position from guard on top but Diggler is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Diggler looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Diggler seems keen to control Cousteau's posture.
Cousteau wants to control from the top but Diggler keeps moving.
We're going to have a standup here because Jacques Cousteau wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Diggler leaves Cousteau with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Cousteau tries for a takedown but Diggler sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Diggler closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Diggler lands in his opponent's guard.

Diggler postures up in Cousteau's guard and throws a big left but Cousteau blocks it.
Cousteau wants to sweep here but Diggler controlling him for the moment.
Diggler drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Cousteau dives on top into guard.

Diggler is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cousteau is controlling him.

Cousteau might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Cousteau wants to pass the guard but Diggler is keeping the position.

Cousteau seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Diggler does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Cousteau is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Diggler sees it coming and defends easily.
Cousteau is trying for a kimura here. Diggler looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Cousteau wins by kimura!

After winning the bout, Jacques Cousteau thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
