And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Penn with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gonzalez to score with a decent uppercut.
Gonzalez displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Penn.
Penn looking to score a takedown here. Gonzalez is defending well but Penn drives through and ends up in Gonzalez's guard.
Penn is standing up over Gonzalez. Gonzalez looks to escape but Penn dives into side control.
Penn is trying to get an arm triangle but Gonzalez is defending well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Penn is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gonzalez is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Penn has an Americana. Gonzalez didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Penn is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Penn hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
