Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yusuke Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sameer Hamadoui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nakamura comes to the cage accompanied by Movado - Neva Believe U. Hamadoui comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lights Out kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Sameer Hamadoui was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nakamura misses with a series of wild punches.
Hamadoui shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nakamura as he avoids it easily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Nakamura enables Hamadoui to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nakamura manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Nakamura wants to stand and escape but Hamadoui is having none of it.

Hamadoui is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Nakamura swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hamadoui is now in Nakamura's guard. A big mistake from Nakamura there, giving up the dominant position!

Hamadoui is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nakamura knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

That was a close round but I would say that Yusuke Nakamura will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Nakamura decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Hamadoui tries to roll over but Nakamura keeps him under control.
Nakamura is stalling here. Hamadoui is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Nakamura seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Hamadoui has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
