Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Frank Blackman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alexandre Ferreira Da Serra!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackman throws a lazy head kick
and Da Serra counters with a nice leg kick.
Blackman fails with an attempt to clinch.
Frank Blackman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blackman tries to clinch up but Da Serra circles away and keeps his distance.
Da Serra with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Blackman throws a leg kick that misses.
Da Serra closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Blackman did well to prevent Da Serra getting side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Da Serra is working for a kimura but Blackman is defending it quite comfortably.
Da Serra seems to be working for a kimura but Blackman defends the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Da Serra looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Da Serra is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Blackman sees it coming and defends easily.
Da Serra is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Blackman wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Da Serra takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Blackman bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Blackman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Da Serra has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Blackman has managed to get both his arms back between Da Serra's legs - danger averted.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blackman has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Da Serra to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Blackman is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Da Serra pulls down on the head and he's put Blackman to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Alexandre Ferreira Da Serra!
A less than humble Alexandre Ferreira Da Serra misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
