Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Tracy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dick Tracy! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tracy closes the distance and clinches. James could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. James is working for takedown but Tracy is calmly controlling the position for now. James has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tracy is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Tracy gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. James looking for a guillotine here but Tracy defends easily.
Tracy not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tracy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. James swivels though and keeps the full guard. Tracy tries to stand but James is controlling from the bottom. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! James has his foot on Tracy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tracy works his way back into a safe position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tracy pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. James is keeping the position for now. Tracy wants to control from the top but James keeps moving. James looking to control.
Tracy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with James. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. James will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Tracy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with James, pushing him back against the cage. Tracy gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, James regains guard.
James is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tracy is aware though and is defending well. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! James is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Tracy defends well. James looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tracy must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. James will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Tracy controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Tracy tries to free his leg and advance position but James is retaining full guard. Tracy won't allow James to get back to his feet. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The fight stays on the outside here - Tracy looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Tracy takes the fight into the clinch. James takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like David James has been cut. Tracy lands an elbow inside. Tracy is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. James can't fight it off and eventually Tracy manages to take the fight to the floor. James looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. James throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tracy preventing the sweep. James is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Tracy wanted to stand there but James had control of the position. James has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tracy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. James working a defensive guard but Tracy manages to pass into side control anyway.

That's four minutes gone in the round. James is letting Tracy control him for a moment. Tracy trying to control the action but James is working from the bottom. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Tracy tries to stand but James controls the position and pulls Tracy into his guard. Tracy tries to stand but James is controlling from the bottom. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Dick Tracy wasn't active enough on the ground. Tracy is looking to clinch. Tracy moves into the clinch successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Dick Tracy will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on David James's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Tracy tries to close the distance and clinch but James swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. James keeps the fight on the outside. Tracy rushes James and presses him up against the cage. James drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Tracy turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! James is looking for a sweep. Tracy working away. Tracy taking a break here but James is having none of it and regains half guard. James makes his way to full guard. A much better position for James. Tracy wants to stand and escape but instead James has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. James tries to free his leg and advance position but Tracy is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tracy pulls James in close to prevent any damage. James slips nicely into half guard. James wants to control but Tracy is keeping him busy. Tracy tries to kick James off but James keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. James is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Tracy is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). David James! David James decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
