And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Valeri Chadov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hillgrund tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Iron is able to avoid easily.
Iron connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Iron steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Hillgrund. That one must have hurt.
Nice shot by Iron.
Hillgrund jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hillgrund rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Iron counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hillgrund thinking.
Hillgrund throws out a loose jab but Iron uses good head movement to avoid it.
Iron connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Hillgrund shoots in for a takedown but Iron shows good takedown defense.
Hillgrund shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Iron as he jumps to the side.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Iron jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Iron missing with a left hand there. Hillgrund was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Iron misses with a straight right.
Danga de danga de dang - Iron scores with a four punch combination!
It looks like Harald Hillgrund has been cut.
Iron steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hillgrund.
Hillgrund throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Hillgrund pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Iron throws a head kick that misses
and Hillgrund counters with a three punch combo that has Iron backing up. Iron nods at Hillgrund to acknowledge the strikes.
Hillgrund attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A nice leg kick lands there from Iron.
Iron pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Crabby Iron is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Iron ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hillgrund moves away.
Hillgrund loads up on a big right hand but Iron slips the punch.
Hillgrund fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Iron avoids it really well and circles away.
Crabby Iron has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harald Hillgrund.
Iron moves out of range of the body kick from Hillgrund.
Hillgrund moves into range and connects with a jab.
Hillgrund throws the left hand but Iron avoids the punch easily.
Hillgrund walks into a left hand.
Hillgrund walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Hillgrund is rocked!

Hillgrund takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Hillgrund is still on wobbly legs! Can Iron finish him?
Hillgrund looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Iron is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Hillgrund flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Hillgrund is out cold! Iron holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Crabby Iron!
Crabby Iron retains his lightweight title!
Crabby Iron decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
