The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage throws a combination that misses
and Bonapart counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Bonapart throws a right hand that Savage ducks under and follows up with a left that Savage also avoids with ease.

Bonapart lands a big head kick that sends Savage tumbling to the mat! Bonapart takes a step backwards and waves Savage back to his feet - he wants the finish!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Savage throws a right hand that Bonapart ducks under and follows up with a left that Bonapart also avoids with ease.

It looks like Napoleon Bonapart has been cut.
Bonapart shoots for a double leg takedown but Savage sprawls well. He's pushed Bonapart's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Savage connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bonapart momentarily.

Bonapart shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Savage defends it nicely.
The fighters circle, before Bonapart throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Savage's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Bonapart lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
