Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lisandro Licha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Storms (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Licha comes to the cage accompanied by In Bloom. Storms is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Stratovarius - Stratofortress. Jake Storms will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jake Storms! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Storms throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Licha was covering up waiting for the punch and Storms finishes the takedown easily into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Licha controlling Storms's posture. Licha working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Storms. Licha wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Licha working a defensive guard here.
Storms trying to control the position from guard on top but Licha is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Lisandro Licha just wasn't active enough. Licha lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Storms circles away quickly and effectively. Storms fails with the takedown and Licha counters with a series of strikes that sends Storms to the canvas! Licha follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!

It's a sloppy attempt though and Licha jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Licha is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Licha won't allow Storms to get back to his feet. Licha might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Licha looking to pass the guard. Storms postures up in Licha's guard and throws a big left but Licha blocks it. Storms throws a big elbow that misses. Licha is pulling down on Storms's head to control his posture. Storms working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Licha seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. The crowd applauds. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Storms is defended easily by Licha. Storms gets a double leg takedown into Licha's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Licha looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Licha is trying to control the position but Storms postures up. Jake Storms has got the better of the ground game so far. Storms throws a big right hand that misses. Storms throws a big elbow that misses. Licha wants to stand and escape but Storms is having none of it. Storms landing with the ground and pound. Storms has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Licha is proving hard to escape from. Storms got a little sloppy there for a moment and Licha has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Storms has managed to get both his arms back between Licha's legs - danger averted.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Storms postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Licha working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Storms. Licha looking to hit a scissor sweep but Storms is one step ahead there. Storms is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Storms in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Storms landing with the ground and pound. Storms scoring with punches to the head and body. Storms tries to free his leg and advance position but Licha is retaining full guard. Licha wants to stand and escape but Storms is having none of it. Licha wants to sweep but no luck. Storms showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Licha pulls Storms in close to prevent any damage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Licha has his feet on Storms's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Storms shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Licha but Licha pushes him off and we're back to square one. Licha throws a sloppy head kick and Storms moves out of range easily. Storms fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Licha, pushing him back against the cage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Storms has Licha pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Licha manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Lisandro Licha has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Storms. Licha manages to pull guard.

Horrible takedown by Storms or perhaps it was just good defense by Licha which made him look bad. Licha uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Storms. Storms looks to land a combination but Licha avoids it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Storms stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Storms wants it to stay on the feet. Licha leaves Storms with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Jake Storms seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Licha wobbles Storms with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Licha dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Storms to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lisandro Licha! In his post fight interview, Lisandro Licha started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
