Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinya Imanari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jones might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Alice in Chains - Them Bones. The crowd seem to be enjoying Imanari's choice of entrance music: Era - Ameno. Shinya Imanari has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinya Imanari!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Imanari closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Imanari pushes Jones against the ropes but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Imanari shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense.
Imanari will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Joseph Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shinya Imanari.
A right-left combo lands from Jones.
It looks like Shinya Imanari has been cut.
Imanari shoots in and drives through. Jones sprawls well.
Jones cracks Imanari with a big right hand and Imanari goes down!
Imanari is rocked!
Jones stands up and waves to Imanari to follow him.
Imanari is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?
Jones cracks Imanari with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Imanari tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Jones pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Imanari is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joseph Jones!
