Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeremy Crusher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard Jay Franlkin! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Andrew Berry and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crusher looks to score with a jab to the body but Franlkin is just out of range. Crusher is looking to clinch. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Crusher. Crusher looks to score with a jab to the body but Franlkin is just out of range. Crusher closes the distance looking to clinch and Franlkin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Crusher is trying hard to land a takedown here. Franlkin sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Crusher throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Franlkin counters with a lovely straight right hand! Crusher attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Crusher wants to clinch up but Franlkin keeps it at a distance. A punch lands to the side of Franlkin 's head but he takes it in his stride. Crusher misses with a wild body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crusher tries to close the distance and clinch up but Franlkin swats him away and circles back towards the center. Crusher tries to clinch but Franlkin moves out of range. Crusher tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Franlkin swivels and escapes. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Crusher. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeremy Crusher. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crusher tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Franlkin was well out of range. Poor timing from Crusher. Crusher fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Franlkin, pushing him back against the cage. Franlkin gets underhooks to prevent Crusher's takedown attempt.
Crusher is trying to pull guard but Franlkin turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. A head punch on the inside from Crusher fails to land. Franlkin's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Franlkin manages to break the clinch.
Crusher throws a chopping leg kick but Franlkin manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Franlkin circles away from the clinch attempt and Franlkin counters with a right hand to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Franlkin tries to sprawl but Crusher drives through with a takedown into half guard. Franlkin is trying to stand back up but Crusher is controlling him
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Franlkin keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Crusher throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Crusher thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Franlkin's head. Crusher is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Franlkin is looking to escape. Crusher is figuring out what he wants to do next. Crusher seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Franlkin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Franlkin is trying to stand.

Crusher missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Crusher has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Crusher is figuring out what he wants to do next. Crusher takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Crusher is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Crusher sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Franlkin defending well though. Crusher wants to control but Franlkin is keeping him busy. Crusher throwing shots but Franlkin is blocking nicely. Franlkin kicks Crusher off and gets back to his feet. Crusher goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. The fight moves into the clinch position. Franlkin wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Franlkin wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Crusher jumps guard but Franlkin turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Franlkin manages to break the clinch.
Franlkin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Crusher.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Crusher throws a leg kick but Franlkin sees it coming and checks it nicely. Crusher misses with a shot to the body and Franlkin counters with a nice uppercut. Crusher wants to clinch and Franlkin counters with a left to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Crusher misses the jab. Crusher loads up on a big right hand but Franlkin slips the punch. Franlkin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Crusher. Crusher tries for a takedown but Franlkin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Crusher ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Franlkin moves away. Crusher swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeremy Crusher. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crusher throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round. Crusher drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Crusher working the ground and pound but Franlkin is defending the strikes. Franlkin is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Crusher asserts his dominance and retains side control. Crusher in side control, throwing shots but Franlkin defends. Franlkin wants to get back to his feet. Crusher in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Crusher tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Franlkin wants to get back to his feet but Crusher drags him back down. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Crusher taking a breather here. Crusher scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Franlkin to see if he's OK.

Crusher is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Franlkin has escaped the position, nice work there. Sloppy strikes there by Crusher. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crusher tries to advance to mount but can't. Franlkin is trying to get back to his feet. Franlkin managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Crusher.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crusher working the strikes but Franlkin uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Franlkin is staying active underneath Crusher, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Crusher looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Franlkin wants to get back to his feet.
Crusher is trying to control the action in half guard but Franlkin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Crusher performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Franlkin is trying to stand up here but Crusher is controlling him well. Crusher moves into full mount! Franlkin won't be happy about that! Franlkin trying desperately to get to his feet.
Crusher has hold of Franlkin's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Franlkin manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Crusher is landing with some decent strikes but Franlkin is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The referee warns Franlkin that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Franlkin is rocked! Crusher tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Franlkin is still in real trouble! Can Crusher finish him? Franlkin squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Crusher jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Franlkin manages to avoid the submission attempt. Franlkin seems to have recovered his senses. Crusher trying to control the action but Franlkin is working from the bottom. Franlkin wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Crusher tries to advance to mount but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Crusher misses with a takedown attempt - Franlkin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Crusher looks for a takedown but Franlkin sprawls well. Crusher looks to land a body kick but Franlkin moved away. Richard Jay Franlkin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Crusher tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Franlkin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crusher shoots for a double leg takedown but Franlkin sprawls well. He's pushed Crusher's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeremy Crusher. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crusher misses with an uppercut. Franlkin saw that one coming. Jeremy Crusher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Crusher tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Crusher is defended easily by Franlkin.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Franlkin. No joy for Crusher on that attempt. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Crusher has a takedown stuffed. Crusher misses with a wild body shot. Crusher ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Franlkin moves away. Crusher throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Franlkin tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Crusher is in Franlkin's guard. Franlkin is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Crusher is controlling him. Crusher trying to control the position from guard on top but Franlkin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crusher throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Franlkin wants to stand up but Crusher is controlling him. Crusher lands a couple of elbows. Franlkin keeping moving, preventing Crusher from controlling successfully. Crusher wants to pass the guard but Franlkin is keeping the position. Franlkin is looking to stand up but Crusher isn't so interested in that idea. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crusher tries to free his leg and advance position but Franlkin is retaining full guard. Crusher trying to control but Franlkin is working from the bottom. Jeremy Crusher overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Crusher throwing strikes but missing. Crusher won't allow Franlkin to get back to his feet.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Crusher gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Franlkin counters with a stiff right hand. Crusher shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Franlkin's guard. Franlkin wants to get back to his feet but Crusher is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Franlkin preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Franlkin wants to stand and escape but Crusher is having none of it.

Franlkin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Crusher pulls his head out easily. Jeremy Crusher is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Crusher throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
