Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rio Ruthless (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skip Donahue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donahue swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Skip Donahue seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Donahue takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Ruthless thows a body shot but no joy.
Ruthless ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ruthless avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Good exchange - Ruthless coming out on top.
It looks like Skip Donahue has been cut.
Donahue fails with an attempt to clinch.
Donahue dips to his left and cracks Ruthless with an uppercut!
Donahue clinches up against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Donahue is pressed up against the cage. Ruthless has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Donahue down to the mat. Donahue avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Donahue gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Ruthless counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Donahue! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rio Ruthless!
After the fight, Rio Ruthless was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
