The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spaten knocks Westwood to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
It looks like Andy Westwood has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Westwood is trying to get back to half guard.
Spaten wants to control but Westwood is keeping him busy.
Spaten tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Westwood is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Spaten off and has taken his back!
Westwood controlling the position well here. Spaten rolled but Westwood kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Westwood has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Spaten has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Westwood is riding his opponent, not letting Spaten buck him off.

Westwood is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Spaten has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Spaten controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Westwood is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Spaten. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
