PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Josh Osko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mariusz Cichon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Osko comes into the arena with Sabotage blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Cichon's choice of entrance music: Eminem - Berzerk. Mariusz Cichon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Josh Osko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mariusz Cichon!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Osko walks into a jab.
Cichon buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Osko feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Osko lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Osko is fighting to break Cichon's control of his arms but Cichon is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Cichon not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Osko might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Osko wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cichon keeps working.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Cichon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Osko moves away.

Cichon lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Osko closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

I would just about give that final round to Mariusz Cichon.
I think Osko has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Josh Osko rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
Mariusz Cichon spoke after the fight, saying 'Sorry I couldn't get the win. Next time i will come back better then ever. Thanks to all the fans for coming out.'.
