Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Alan Karaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Thadani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alan Karaev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tom Thadani! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thadani throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Karaev throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Karaev goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Karaev tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Thadani moves into the clinch. Karaev is trying to break the clinch but Thadani is controlling him. Knees in the clinch landing for Thadani.
Karaev is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stalling in the clinch from Thadani.
Thadani lands a good knee to the midsection. Karaev won't want to take too many of those. Thadani breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Karaev tries to close the distance and clinch up but Thadani swats him away and circles back towards the center. Alan Karaev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Thadani connects with an inside leg kick. Thadani scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Thadani fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Karaev has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Thadani dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Karaev. That did some damage! Thadani looks for the body kick but Karaev saw that one coming. Thadani throws a half hearted mid kick. Thadani has Karaev up against the ropes in a clinch.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Thadani rushes Karaev and presses him up against the ropes. Thadani is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Karaev is defending well for now. Karaev is trying to break free. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tom Thadani dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Karaev crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Thadani - the referee stops the clock and Karaev gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Thadani. Karaev manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. A nice leg kick lands there from Thadani. Karaev chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Thadani can pounce on him.

and Thadani counters with a good, hard body kick but Karaev shrugs it off. Thadani lands a front kick. Karaev takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
