Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Ryan Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Schrank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ryan Carter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frank Schrank!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter tries to clinch but Schrank moves out of range.
Carter tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Frank Schrank seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Schrank paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Carter avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Schrank looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Carter misses with a hook. Schrank ducked under it nicely.
Schrank throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Schrank lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.


It looks like Ryan Carter has been cut.
Carter avoids the head kick by Schrank.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Carter.
Carter misses with a head kick.
Carter misses with a two punch combination.
Schrank throws a nice looking combination but Carter bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Carter clinches with his opponent.

Carter breaks from the clinch.
Carter throws a sloppy head kick and Schrank moves out of range easily.
Schrank lands with a nice combination. Carter backs away looking to recover.

Schrank has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Schrank pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Schrank cracks Carter with an open hand slap.
Carter avoids a punch combination nicely.
Carter takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Carter throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Schrank.
Schrank with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Frank Schrank is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Schrank throws out a leg kick but Carter moves out of range and Schrank only half commits.
Carter on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Carter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Carter is breathing heavily.
Carter throws a left and a right that both miss
and Schrank counters with a nice leg kick.
Schrank cracks Carter with a right hand to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Schrank closes the distance and pushes Carter back into the ropes.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Schrank slowing the pace effectively.

Schrank manages to break the clinch.
Schrank fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Carter on the side of the head.
Schrank connects with a good right hand that stumbles Carter. Carter circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
A head kick misses from Schrank.
Schrank blocks a jab.
Schrank lands a nice shot that snaps Carter's head back.
Schrank misses with a kick to the body.
Carter moves in looking to clinch but Schrank pushes him off.
A solid leg kick lands there for Schrank.
Carter tries to clinch there but Schrank circles away.
Schrank scores with a hook.


Ryan Carter's cut is getting worse.
Carter goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Carter tries to clinch up but Schrank circles away and keeps his distance.
A head kick misses from Carter.
Schrank is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Schrank clobbers Carter with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Carter looks to clinch
and Schrank counters with a straight right hand.
Schrank throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Carter sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Carter avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Carter wants to clinch
and Schrank counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Carter thinking.
Carter goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Schrank scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Carter to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Schrank away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Carter got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Schrank tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carter was well out of range. Poor timing from Schrank.
The fight stays on the outside here - Carter looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Schrank throws a shot from downtown. Carter moves away and avoids it.
Carter pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Carter is rocked!


Ryan Carter's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Schrank lands a leg kick that knocks Carter off balance momentarily.
Oh Carter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Schrank stuns Carter with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Schrank darts in and clinches Carter up against the ropes.
Carter letting Schrank take a breather here.
Schrank continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.
Schrank works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Carter seems to have got his legs back now.

Schrank's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Carter fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Schrank.
Schrank has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Schrank lands with a kick to the ribs.
Carter takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Carter walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Carter is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Frank Schrank!
Frank Schrank decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
