Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leonardo Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Helge Fossmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferreira kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Wrathchild. Fossmo has chosen Helge Fossmo predikar as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The key to victory for Leonardo Ferreira has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fossmo shoots for a double leg takedown but Ferreira sprawls well. He's pushed Fossmo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Fossmo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ferreira sprawls well. Ferreira wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fossmo gets slowly back to his feet.

Ferreira throws a lazy right hand but Fossmo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Ferreira counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Ferreira fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Fossmo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Ferreira lands a left and a right that send Fossmo crashing to the mat, dazed. Ferreira thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Helge Fossmo has been cut.

Fossmo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ferreira sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Ferreira lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Ferreira lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Fossmo's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Donk. Ferreira catches Fossmo right on the button with a cross.
Fossmo sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
A jab lands there for Ferreira.
Fossmo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ferreira can pounce on him.
Ferreira lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A slapping body kick lands there for Ferreira.
Fossmo takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A nice leg kick lands there from Ferreira.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Ferreira here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Fossmo has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Ferreira.
Fossmo leaves his chin hanging out and Ferreira seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Fossmo crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
