Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between West Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Spong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Spong will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Spong!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Spong, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Spong throws a head kick that half lands.
Spong shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Brown eats them both and turns towards Spong to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Brown throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Brown closes the distance and clinches.
Brown blocks a body shot from Spong.
Spong tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Brown's elbow.
Brown ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Brown no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Brown might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Brown has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Brown throws a nice elbow from the bottom.

Brown pulls Spong in close to prevent any damage.
Brown manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Brown tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Brown cracks Spong with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Brown lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
