The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Robber scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
The Robber fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Meyer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but The Robber avoids it really well and circles away.
Meyer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bob The Robber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Meyer.

Meyer shoots for a double leg takedown but The Robber sprawls well. He's pushed Meyer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bob The Robber has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Meyer.

Meyer gets a takedown into half guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Meyer is looking for a kimura but The Robber is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Meyer to get the leverage.

Meyer is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but The Robber is surviving well by controlling Meyer's body position as best he can.
The Robber wants to hold on but Meyer pushes him away.
