Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob The Robber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Meyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dave Meyer is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bob The Robber! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dave Meyer! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Micheangelo Fripello and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Robber scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. The Robber fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. A combination from The Robber does no damage. Meyer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but The Robber avoids it really well and circles away. Meyer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Bob The Robber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No luck with that takedown attempt from Meyer. The Robber connects with a crisp jab. Jab from The Robber. Meyer shoots for a double leg takedown but The Robber sprawls well. He's pushed Meyer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bob The Robber has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Meyer. Meyer gets a takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Meyer is looking for a kimura but The Robber is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Meyer to get the leverage. Meyer is looking to advance position but The Robber won't allow it. Meyer is working for a submission of some sort.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Robber tries to roll over but Meyer keeps him under control. Meyer passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for The Robber! Meyer is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but The Robber is surviving well by controlling Meyer's body position as best he can. The Robber wants to hold on but Meyer pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Meyer looking to secure an arm triangle but The Robber defends it well. The Robber is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Meyer has taken his back.
The Robber preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Meyer. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Meyer is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! The Robber is tapping out! This one is all over!
