Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gary Vines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jobert Kulot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jobert Kulot will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vines shoots in but Kulot avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kulot tests Vines's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kulot wants to clinch up but Vines keeps it at a distance.
Kulot thows a body kick. Vines tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Kulot bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Kulot lands a jab to Vines's midsection.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kulot throws a sloppy head kick and Vines moves out of range easily.
Vines tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kulot sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vines somewhat.
Kulot tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Vines manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kulot fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kulot lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Vines at a distance.
That kick from Kulot tenderised Vines's leg. Vines is trying to keep his angry face on.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Vines.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gary Vines. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kulot tries a head kick but it misses.
Jobert Kulot is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kulot stuffs the takedown.

Kulot clinches up against the cage.
Nice body punch from Kulot - that landed with a thud.

Vines gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Kulot wants to get back to his feet.
Vines missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Kulot is trying to stand up here but Vines is controlling him well.
Vines scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Vines thows a huge punch but Kulot dodges it nicely.
Kulot really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vines. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Vines missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Vines frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Vines landing strikes, looking to finish!
Kulot's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Vines postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kulot looks a forlorn figure.
Vines lands with some strikes.
Kulot squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Vines throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Kulot has his hands clasped together but Vines breaks the hold and Kulot is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Vines!
