Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Obval Zaboev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Garijus Macys (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zaboev comes into the arena with Lezginka blaring out of the sound system. Garijus Macys will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaboev slaps away a takedown attempt from Macys, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Zaboev throws a right and a left that Macys avoids nicely.
Zaboev stuffs the takedown.
Zaboev is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Macys's half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Zaboev connects with a nice short shot to Macys's temple.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Macys is looking for a sweep. Zaboev is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Zaboev looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Macys with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Zaboev could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Zaboev is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Macys!
Macys wants to control but Zaboev is having none of it.

Macys swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.

Zaboev cracks Macys with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

An out of breath Obval Zaboev thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
