Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Johnson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mamma Said Knock You Out. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Chase! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Columbo Gatti and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Chase!
It looks like Quinton Johnson has been cut. Johnson tries to move into range but Chase moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Johnson misses with a low kick.

Chase really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johnson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Johnson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chase is one step ahead there. Chase is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Chase working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Chase not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Chase throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Johnson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Chase won't allow Johnson to sweep him here. Johnson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Chase controls the pace. Chase has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Johnson is proving hard to escape from. Chase wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Chase throws a quick inside leg kick. Chase goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Johnson wants to clinch. Johnson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Chase circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quinton Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chase scores with a push kick. Chase throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Chase lands with a kick to the temple. Johnson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chase looks to land a combination. Johnson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Johnson is rocked! Johnson circles away from the clinch attempt and Johnson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Chase bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Johnson's guard. Chase not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Chase wants to get up but he can't break Johnson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Johnson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chase gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Chase is looking to stand up but Johnson won't let him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Chase dominated that round. The cut man is working on Quinton Johnson's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Quinton Johnson's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Chase throws a front kick that sends Johnson stumbling back into the cage. Chase circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Johnson drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Chase follows Johnson to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
