And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Taka Sho!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bennett enables Sho to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bennett manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Sho postures up and lands a big shot to Bennett's brow.
Bennett knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sho on the ground.
Sho content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Sho distracts Bennett with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Bennett keeping moving, preventing Sho from controlling successfully.

Sho postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Sho stops Bennett from standing up.
Sho working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bennett's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sho is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Sho stands and throws Bennett's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Sho scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Bennett is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Sho can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
