Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Bowman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rivera comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Your Hand in Mine kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carlos Rivera!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bowman is looking for a kimura but Rivera is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bowman to get the leverage.
Rivera has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bowman is working away from the top position though.

Bowman wants to work for an arm triangle but Rivera is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Bowman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rivera is just riding it out for now. Bowman eventually gives up the hold.

Bowman drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rivera looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rivera looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rivera!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

I would just about give that final round to Carlos Rivera.
