Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nowak shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says West as he avoids it easily.
Agris West seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nowak fails with a takedown attempt.
West swinging wildly here.
No joy there for West, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
West moves into range and connects with a jab.
West misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Nowak.
Agris West has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michal Nowak.
West throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Nowak moves into the clinch.
Nowak drops to a knee looking for a takedown but West gets the underhooks and prevents it.
West breaks the clinch.
Nowak blocks a head kick by West.

Nowak bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
West is looking to regain half guard here but Nowak keeps moving and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
West gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
West tries to reverse the position but Nowak maintains control.
Nowak is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, West has managed to escape the submission attempt.
West is looking to improve his position but Nowak isn't that keen on the idea.
Nowak trying to control but West is having none of it.
West trying desperately to get to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nowak get's back to his feet.

Nowak misses with a body kick.
Nowak fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but West avoids it really well and circles away.
Nice takedown defense from West. No joy for Nowak on that attempt.
West fails in his attempt to clinch.
West fails to land with a series of punches.
West throws a head kick but Nowak moves out of range.

West slaps away a takedown attempt from Nowak, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Nice sprawl there from West as Nowak shoots in.
Nowak looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for West!
Nowak has control of an arm but West manages to advance to Nowak's back!
West trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
West wants to control but Nowak manages to buck him off and is now in West's guard! Nice work there by Nowak!
Nowak pushing down on West's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nowak is trying for a kimura here. West looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Nowak wins by kimura!
