Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cain misses the jab.
Magri throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Magri misses with a looping left.
Magri uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cain.
Cain tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Cain throws a half hearted mid kick.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Magri checks a leg kick.
Cain steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Magri.
Cain thows a left - swing and a miss!
Magri misses with an uppercut.
Cain takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Magri swings for the body but Cain moves out of range.
Cain scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Cain looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Magri moves into range and connects with a jab.

Cain tries to close the distance and clinch up but Magri swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Cain feints a jab promting Magri to slip. Cain then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Magri slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Magri throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Magri lands with a shot to the body.
Magri moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Cain looks to land a right hand but Magri moved out of range.
Cain avoids the body shot from Magri.

and Cain counters with a takedown into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cain is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Magri has escaped the position, nice work there.
Magri tries to escape but Cain is in control.
Cain swings around for an armbar but Magri sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Cain's guard.
Magri wants to get up but he can't break Cain's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Cain looking to hit a scissor sweep but Magri is one step ahead there.
Magri got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cain has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Magri has managed to get both his arms back between Cain's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Magri wants to stand but Cain is controlling his posture from full guard.
Cain not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Cain tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Cain has a closed guard, preventing Magri from standing up.
Cain escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Magri gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Magri tries to stand but Cain is controlling from the bottom.
Magri must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Magri is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Cain looking for a sweep. Not yet Cain, not yet.

Magri would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Magri stands and steps away. Cain gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Scott Cain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cain throws a leg kick but Magri moved away.

That was a close round but I would say that Scott Cain will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
The fight stays on the outside here - Magri looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Cain drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Magri manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Cain has Magri in his guard.

Cain will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Magri throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cain sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Cain does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Cain rushes Magri and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Scott Cain will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Magri takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Cain is looking to work his way around to Magri's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
Magri somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
Magri throws a jab but it's blocked by Cain.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cain, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
