Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jesse James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Michael Jonberg!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James works the jab nicely.
James throws a right and a left that Jonberg avoids nicely.
Jonberg tries to clinch but James moves out of range.
James keeps the fight on the outside.
James ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Jonberg scores with a kick to the midsection.
Jonberg doesn't manage to clinch there - James circles away.
James digs a good body shot into Jonberg's ribs.
A combination from James does no damage.
James lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by James.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Jonberg has James pressed against the ropes, preventing James from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jesse James will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

James bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jonberg's head backwards.
James lands with a nice combination. Jonberg backs away looking to recover.
James moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and James counters with a crisp right hand that drops Jonberg! James lets Jonberg back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

James lands with a right that hurts Jonberg. Jonberg looks to clinch but James throws a short knee that drops Jonberg. This one is all over!

Jesse James seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
