The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ramsay rushes Vancan and presses him up against the cage.

Vancan is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Ramsay managing to block the knees to the body from Vancan.

Ramsay lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Ramsay tries to work over Vancan's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Ramsay digs a right hand underneath Vancan's ribcage. Vancan let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Ramsay tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Vancan's elbow.
Vancan has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ramsay is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raider Vancan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vancan wants to take the fight to the mat but Ramsay manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

A relieved looking Gordon Ramsay thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
