The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hardy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Choi was covering up waiting for the punch and Hardy finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Hardy wants to get up but he can't break Choi's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Choi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hardy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hardy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Hardy is stalling in the full guard.
Hardy is looking to work some ground and pound but Choi has wrist control.

Still in half guard, Hardy seems content to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
