Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mick lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Buschkamp backs up against the cage.
Mick takes the fight into the clinch.
Mick looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Buschkamp tries to pull guard but Mick forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Buschkamp breaks from the clinch.
Buschkamp gets a double leg takedown into Mick's guard.
Buschkamp trying to control the position from guard on top but Mick is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mick has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Buschkamp off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Buschkamp misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Mick counters with a two punch combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Buschkamp checks a leg kick nicely.
Buschkamp shoots in but no luck this time.
Mick shoots in for a takedown but Buschkamp shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Buschkamp pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Buschkamp lands with a shot to the body.
Buschkamp keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mick swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mick tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Mick misses with a takedown
and Buschkamp counters with a head kick.
Martin Buschkamp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Mick.
Buschkamp has closed the distance and engaged Mick in a clinch.
Buschkamp tightens his grip and picks Mick up, before dumping him to the ground. Mick manages to land in guard.
Buschkamp postures up in Mick's guard and throws a big left but Mick blocks it.
Mick working a defensive guard but Buschkamp manages to pass into side control anyway.
Mick is looking for a sweep.

Buschkamp looks up at the clock and then as Mick takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Buschkamp smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Buschkamp prevents Mick from escaping the position.
Mick looks winded!
Buschkamp working the head and body with strikes.
Buschkamp is looking to take a break and control but Mick is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Buschkamp working the ground and pound but Mick is defending the strikes.
Mick is not content to let Buschkamp control the position.
Mick wants to control but Buschkamp postures up.

Buschkamp sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Mick is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Mick is trying to get back to half guard.
Buschkamp landing strikes.
Mick tries to buck Buschkamp off but Buschkamp is having none of it.
Buschkamp decides to stand back up.
Buschkamp defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mick.
Mick misses with a body shot.
Mick fails with the takedown
and Buschkamp counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Mick keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Buschkamp takes the fight into the clinch.
Buschkamp fails to pull guard.
Buschkamp jumps into guard, dragging Mick to the mat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Buschkamp controlling the position.
Mick wants to stand but Buschkamp has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Buschkamp looking for a sweep. Not yet Buschkamp, not yet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Buschkamp is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Martin Buschkamp dominated that round.

Buschkamp wants to clinch up but Mick keeps it at a distance.
Buschkamp lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Mick tries to clinch there but Buschkamp circles away.
Mick shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Buschkamp but Buschkamp pushes him off and we're back to square one.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mick looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mick throws a sloppy head kick and Buschkamp moves out of range easily.
Good exchange - Buschkamp coming out on top.
No luck for Buschkamp with that takedown attempt.
Buschkamp gets a clinch.

Mick misses with a knee to the head.
Buschkamp lands an elbow that stopped Mick in his tracks for a moment.
Buschkamp jumps guard and drags Mick to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Mick sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Buschkamp's guard.
Mick tries to pass the half guard into mount. Buschkamp knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Buschkamp is looking to improve his position.
Mick is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Mick is breathing heavily.
Buschkamp wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Buschkamp is looking to control Mick's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Buschkamp avoid being mounted?
Buschkamp moves into full guard.
Mick trying to control but Buschkamp is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mick has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Buschkamp is proving hard to escape from.
Buschkamp has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Mick content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Buschkamp has locked up a guillotine! Buschkamp's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Mick is holding on here and Buschkamp must be using up a lot of energy. Mick has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Buschkamp gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
