Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bakung Monk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Grey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monk comes to the cage accompanied by X Amount of Words- Blue October. Grey has chosen Soilwork - Nerve as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bakung Monk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jim Grey! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Monk. Monk tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Monk tries to close the distance and clinch but Grey swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Monk wants to clinch. Monk throws a combination. Grey tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Jim Grey has been cut. Nice combo by Monk! Oh, that's hurt him - Grey falls to the canvas and Monk follows him into side control.
Grey is rocked! Monk wants to lay and pray for a moment but Grey keeps working. Grey is still in real trouble! Can Monk finish him? Monk tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Grey seems to have recovered his senses. Monk looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Grey is avoiding damage well.
Monk taking a breather here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grey dodges the ground and pound from Monk. Monk taking a breather here. Grey tries to bench press Monk off him but Monk keeps the position. Grey is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Monk is controlling him well. Grey tries to improve position but can't. Monk tries to advance to mount but can't. Monk just content to control the position. Grey tries to get back to half guard but can't.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Grey shoots in but no luck this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Grey looks for a takedown but Monk sprawls well. Monk drives through and clinches with Grey against the cage.
Grey breaks the clinch.
Grey gets a takedown into half guard. Monk is controlling Grey's position as best he can from this difficult position. Monk is looking to improve his position.

Grey prevents Monk from standing back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Monk has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Grey is working away from the top position though. Monk is in trouble now - Grey has advanced to mount! Monk is looking to get to half guard. Grey breaks from Monk's wrist control and lands an elbow. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Grey cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Monk wants to hold on but Grey pushes him away. Monk is desperately trying to improve his position but Grey has a good base and remains in mount. Grey with the ground and pound from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Grey avoids the attempt from Monk to control. Monk is looking to get to half guard. Grey misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Monk manages to regain half guard. Good work. Grey looks gassed! Monk regains full guard. Nicely done. Monk pulls Grey in to control the position. Grey wants to control from the top but Monk keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bakung Monk dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jim Grey's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Grey gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Grey changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Monk fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Bakung Monk is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Monk shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Grey wants to stand and escape but Monk is having none of it. Monk stands up from Grey's guard - Monk perhaps looking for a knockout. Monk has Grey up against the cage in a clinch.
Grey has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Monk is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Grey is breathing heavily. Grey goes for a takedown attempt but Monk pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Bakung Monk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Grey.
That's one minute gone in the round. Monk shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Monk looking to control and managing it successfully. Monk knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Grey on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Grey is wriggling around trying to escape.
Monk controlling from the full mount. Grey is squirming around, avoiding Monk's attempts to control the action.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Bakung Monk just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Nice shot lands for Monk. Grey shoots and misses and Monk counters by moving into the clinch. A short body shot lands from Monk as the two fighters clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Monk escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Horrible takedown by Monk or perhaps it was just good defense by Grey which made him look bad. Grey gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Monk counters by clinching up. Grey is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Grey wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Grey wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. A nice left hand lands by Monk.
Monk stalling the fight.
Monk working some nice short punches in the clinch. Monk has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Grey regains guard immediately. Grey looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Monk trying to control but Grey is working from the bottom. Monk has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Grey wants to sweep but no luck. Monk is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Monk trying to control the position from guard on top but Grey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Monk trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Grey looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Monk has picked Grey up and slammed him! Grey can't keep hold of the triangle and Monk manages to pass to side control! Monk taking a break here but Grey is having none of it and regains half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bakung Monk dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Jim Grey's cut. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Monk throws a head kick that misses. Monk lands a nice shot that snaps Grey's head back.
Monk tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Grey counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Monk is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Grey misses with a combination
and Monk counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Grey wants to clinch and Monk counters with a left and a right that stings Grey. Grey takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Monk moves into range and clinches up with Grey.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grey can't get the takedown.

Grey is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Monk digs a right hand underneath Grey's ribcage. Grey let out a lung full of air as it connected. Monk manages to break the clinch.
Monk lands with a nice combination. Grey backs away looking to recover. Monk clinches. Monk can't get the takedown.
Monk tries for a takedown but Grey manages to get underhooks.
Grey drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Monk drives through with a takedown into guard. Monk wants to pass the guard but Grey is keeping the position. Bakung Monk overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Monk content to stall in guard here. Monk is pushing down on Grey's leg trying to pass to half guard. Grey is fighting to maintain full guard but Monk has managed to sneak the leg through. Monk controlling the action here. Monk wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Monk decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Monk darts in and clinches Grey up against the cage. Grey tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Monk breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Grey tries to clinch but fails miserably and Monk counters by clinching up. Grey wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Monk has him pressed against the cage. Monk has hold of one of Grey's legs. Grey is fighting the takedown attempt but Monk gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Jim Grey has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Monk slips nicely into half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Monk tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Grey flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
And that's the end of the fight! Bakung Monk showed his dominance in that final round. Well Monk has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
