Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between True Determination (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aj Heid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aj Heid!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Determination defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Heid.
Horrible takedown by Heid or perhaps it was just good defense by Determination which made him look bad.
Determination shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Heid is trying to defend but Determination finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Heid is trying to get back to full guard.
Heid is staying active underneath Determination, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Heid is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Determination seems to be working for a kimura but Heid defends the submission attempt.

Determination drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Heid manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Determination has Heid in his guard.
Determination working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Heid doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Heid manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Heid tries to free his leg and advance position but Determination is retaining full guard.

Determination is trying to get back to half guard.
Heid wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Determination, who protects the arm well.
Heid thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Determination wants to control but Heid postures up.

Heid swings around for an armbar but Determination sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Heid's guard.
Determination is looking to pass into half guard but Heid pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Heid is in guard.
Determination keeping moving, preventing Heid from controlling successfully.
Determination is trying to keep Heid in close.
Determination is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Heid is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Heid got a little sloppy there for a moment and Determination has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Heid has managed to get both his arms back between Determination's legs - danger averted.

Heid drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Heid jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Aj Heid hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Heid bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Determination's guard.

Heid forces his way into half guard.
Heid is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Heid has control of Determination's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Determination regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Heid trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Heid looking for a guillotine from mount but Determination is having none of it.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Determination has given up his back.
Heid tightening his grip on Determination, looking for the choke.
Well, with Heid on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Determination is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Determination tries to escape but Heid has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Determination looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Determination tries to roll but Heid sticks to his back.

Heid has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Determination! Can he survive? No! He's out! Heid gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
