Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Romanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Syntha Six (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Syntha Six will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Igor Romanov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Syntha Six! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Six is looking to clinch but Romanov is avoiding it.
Romanov shoots in for a double leg but Six sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Six misses with a head kick.
Romanov dodges the punch combination from Six.
Romanov fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Six, pushing him back against the cage. Romanov successfully pulls guard.
Six won't allow Romanov to sweep him here. Romanov is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Six regains full guard. Nicely done. Romanov has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Six trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Six is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Six is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Six has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Romanov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Romanov pushing down on Six's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. Romanov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Six is looking to improve his position.
Romanov decides to stand up. A lazy left from Six finds it's target. Nice uppercut there from Six. Romanov shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Romanov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Six is working to get back to half guard.
Six is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Six avoids a series of strikes thrown by Romanov.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Romanov looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Romanov is standing up, even though he is in mount. Six fails with an attempt to clinch.
Romanov shoots for a takedown but Six saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Six shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Romanov works his way to full guard. Good work. Romanov is breathing heavily. Romanov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Six can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Romanov wants to sweep here but Six controlling him for the moment. Six trying to control the position from guard on top but Romanov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Romanov gets in close and instigates a clinch. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Romanov. Romanov drags the fight down to the ground.
Six wants to pass the guard but Romanov is keeping the position. Six trying to control but Romanov is working from the bottom. Romanov wants to sweep but no luck. Six thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Romanov looking to ground and pound but Six is blocking nicely. Romanov misses with a head shot. Romanov is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Romanov has his takedown stuffed and Six counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Igor Romanov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Romanov closes the distance and clinches up with Six, looking for a takedown. Romanov pushes Six against the cage but Six circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Six bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Igor Romanov dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Six is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Six lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Six looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Romanov tries to get to full guard but Six has control of the leg.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Romanov fails with the takedown and Six counters with a two punch combo. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Igor Romanov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Six scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Six is putting a hurting on Romanov here, landing some big shots from side control. Romanov is looking for a sweep. Romanov is not content to let Six control the position. Romanov on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Igor Romanov overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Six working the head with strikes. Syntha Six showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Romanov is controlling Six's trapped leg to prevent Six from advancing to side control. Romanov is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Six's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Six's back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Six tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Romanov unloads with some shots from mount but Six bucks and avoids them well.

Romanov is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
