Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fish Nak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Samran Mookjai! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Alexandre Firmino and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mookjai lands a leg kick that knocks Nak off balance momentarily. Mookjai with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Mookjai tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Nak fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mookjai avoids it really well and circles away. Samran Mookjai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mookjai lands a big head kick that sends Nak to the canvas! Mookjai follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Samran Mookjai! Samran Mookjai seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
