Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Hanlon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anton Strogavadish!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Leandro Rodrigues and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanlon tries to clinch there but Strogavadish circles away.
Hanlon moves into range and clinches up with Strogavadish.
Hanlon jumps guard and drags Strogavadish to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Strogavadish showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Strogavadish wants to control from the top but Hanlon keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Anton Strogavadish.
Strogavadish gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hanlon counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Strogavadish working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hanlon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hanlon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Hanlon content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
It looks like Anton Strogavadish has been cut.
Hanlon lands a couple of digs.
That has opened up Anton Strogavadish's cut even more.
Strogavadish has an active guard here but Hanlon has managed to pass into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hanlon is nestled in close to Strogavadish, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The cut above Anton Strogavadish's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Anton Strogavadish's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Mark Hanlon!
Mark Hanlon really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Zentrope Fighting Universe logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
