Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Julius Cesar Alcaraz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tom Jenkens! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Lou da Vinci and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alcaraz shoots in for a takedown but Jenkens shows good takedown defense. Jenkens will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Alcaraz misses with a takedown attempt - Jenkens sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Alcaraz fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Julius Cesar Alcaraz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jenkens pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Alcaraz back to the cage. Jenkens follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Julius Cesar Alcaraz has been cut. Alcaraz shoots in for a double leg but Jenkens sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Alcaraz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jenkens sprawls well. Jenkens wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Alcaraz gets slowly back to his feet. Jenkens is pawing at Alcaraz, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Alcaraz's nose. Alcaraz is badly hurt! Jenkens pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Alcaraz tries desperately to hold on but Jenkens is relentless in his assault! As Alcaraz receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Jenkens away and this one is in the books!
