Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Peter Venkman!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rambo John J!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
John J misses with the combination.
John J throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
John J looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
John J is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
John J misses with a few strikes there.
John J throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
John J fails to land with a series of punches.
Venkman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
John J really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Venkman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Venkman throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Venkman won't let John J get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Venkman content just to control the position here.
Venkman lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

John J wants to get back to his feet.
Venkman has hold of John J's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and John J manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Venkman landing strikes, looking to finish!
John J is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Venkman has taken his back!
Venkman working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
John J has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Venkman.

John J has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Venkman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Venkman really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for John J.
John J is trying to get back to his feet but Venkman has full control of the position and if anything, John J has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Venkman working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. John J is doing well to defend. Venkman seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! John J is forced to tap and this one is over!
