The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Daniel Cesar and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barcelo jabs Sonny right on the nose. Sonny blinks but takes it well.
Sonny fails in his attempt to clinch.
Barcelo lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Barcelo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sonny manages to avoid it.
Barcelo scores with a nice right hand.
Barcelo swings for the body but Sonny moves out of range.
Sonny fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Barcelo checks it well.
Barcelo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Sonny gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Sonny is looking to control Barcelo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sonny avoid being mounted?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sonny slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Barcelo throws a big elbow that misses.
Sonny avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Barcelo with a flurry of punches that miss.
Sonny utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Barcelo is sitting in close to Sonny's body. Sonny has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Barcelo is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Barcelo is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Sonny.
