And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Phil Laak!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spencer fails with a takedown attempt.
Laak lands a leg kick that knocks Spencer off balance momentarily.
Laak lands a head kick!


It looks like Guster Spencer has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Laak. Spencer does a little dance to reset his feet.
Spencer blocks a head kick by Laak.
Laak lands with a slapping head kick.
Spencer shoots in for a takedown but Laak shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Laak fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Spencer has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Spencer is trying hard to land a takedown here. Laak sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Guster Spencer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Spencer misses with a takedown attempt
and Laak counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Laak throws a head kick that Spencer semi-blocks.
Spencer takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.


Spencer is rocked!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Spencer. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Laak pounces like a tiger and cracks Spencer with a vicious hook! Spencer is down but not out! Laak follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Phil Laak!
