The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faber steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dunowevil.
Dunowevil fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Faber looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Faber slips under a jab from Dunowevil.
Faber lands a leg kick that knocks Dunowevil off balance momentarily.
Dunowevil doesn't manage to clinch there - Faber circles away.
Faber throws out a loose jab but Dunowevil uses good head movement to avoid it.

Roger Dunowevil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dunowevil wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Faber using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Dunowevil has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Faber is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Faber lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Faber has a couple of punches blocked by Dunowevil.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

A short body shot lands from Faber as the two fighters clinch.
Faber tries to break the clinch but Dunowevil is controlling the position.

That was a close round but I would say that Gabe Faber will probably get the nod.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dunowevil lands a nice shot that snaps Faber's head back.

Dunowevil lands with a big right hook that stumbles Faber - he's out on his feet here! Dunowevil follows up with another monster hook that separates Faber from consciousness! Faber falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Dunowevil stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
