Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ever Last (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gaby Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Last throws a right hand that Castro ducks under and follows up with a left that Castro also avoids with ease.
Castro keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Last has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Castro moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Last drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Castro tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Last wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Last wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Castro, who protects the arm well.
Last has control of an arm but Castro manages to advance to Last's back!

Last rolls, trying to escape but Castro keeps control of the position.

Last manages to reverse the position and now he's in Castro's guard. Nice work there by Last.

Last gets to his feet. Castro looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Castro throws a hook but Last avoids it easily.
Castro throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Castro throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Last on the side of the head.
Last shoots in for a takedown but Castro shows good takedown defense.
Last throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Castro was covering up waiting for the punch and Last finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Last engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Last stands and steps away. Castro gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Last bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Last fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Castro, pushing him back against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Last lands an elbow that stopped Castro in his tracks for a moment.
It looks like Gaby Castro has been cut.
Last is looking for a takedown.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Last working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Castro looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Last! Submission of the night perhaps?
