Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Redban!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Dominguez !
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Redban, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Dominguez pushes Redban up against the cage in a clinch.

Dominguez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Dominguez looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Dominguez with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Dominguez stays in close to Redban's body and controls the position.
It looks like Dominguez might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Redban is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Dominguez trying to control the position from guard on top but Redban is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Redban knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dominguez on the ground.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Josh Dominguez hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Redban tries to bum rush Dominguez with a series of wild strikes but Dominguez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Redban misses with a wild combination.
Good standup being displayed there by Redban as he connects with a hook.
Dominguez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dominguez is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Redban moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brian Redban!
